The MICO612 ultra-compact infrared camera core integrates a 640×512 mainstream resolution infrared detector, multiple optical lens options, image processing board, and robust structural frame. It transmits analog or digital video to backend platforms for seamless integration. With its larger array, the MICO612 meets diverse customer requirements across various applications.
The high-resolution 640x512 sensor and small pixel size of 12μm deliver exceptional image clarity and detail, enabling detection of even minor temperature differences in thermal images. This level of precision is essential for security monitoring applications, helping identify potential threats or anomalous behavior that might otherwise go undetected.

The MICO612 thermal camera module can be integrated into security cameras with temperature monitoring from short distance to ultra distance, such as PTZ Camera, Box Camera, and Speed Dome Camera.
In nature, all objects with temperatures above absolute zero (-273℃) radiate infrared rays. Using an infrared camera detector to measure the infrared radiation temperature difference between targets and background produces different infrared images, known as thermal images.
Infrared radiation emitted by targets enters the thermal detector's sensing range. The infrared detector converts radiation signals of varying intensity into corresponding electrical signals, which are then amplified and processed to form infrared images visible to the naked eye.
Cooled infrared focal plane detectors operate at low temperatures provided by detector dewar coolers (DDC). They offer higher sensitivity and can distinguish more subtle temperature differences than uncooled detectors, enabling detection, identification, and recognition of objects over distances exceeding ten kilometers. However, their complex structure results in relatively higher costs compared to uncooled detectors.
