The iTL608 thermal camera core is ideal for: Forest Firefighting, Power Maintenance, Photovoltaic Inspection, Security Monitoring, Wearable Devices, Portable Devices, and more.
SensorMicro was founded with a simple but powerful belief: Innovation should serve real-world needs. Our mission is to empower people and systems to see beyond the surface—revealing patterns, problems, and possibilities that lie beneath.
By converting invisible heat into visible data, we help industries make smarter decisions, protect critical assets, and navigate complexity with clarity. Our customer-first approach and global business presence have established SensorMicro as a trusted partner across security, firefighting, industrial inspection, medical care, machine vision, environmental monitoring, and carbon neutrality initiatives.
In nature, all objects with temperatures above absolute zero (-273℃) emit infrared radiation. Infrared thermal imaging uses camera detectors to measure temperature differences between targets and their background, creating thermal images that visualize these variations.
Infrared radiation emitted by targets enters the thermal detector's sensing range. The detector converts this radiation into corresponding electrical signals, which are then amplified and processed to create visible infrared images.
Cooled infrared focal plane detectors operate at low temperatures provided by detector dewar coolers (DDC). They offer higher sensitivity than uncooled detectors, enabling detection of more subtle temperature differences and long-range object detection (over ten kilometers). However, their complex structure results in higher costs compared to uncooled detectors.
